Meteor

Eine große vertikale Komposition, in der eine schwere rot-ockerfarbene Masse im Zentrum sitzt, umgeben von einem graublauen Feld, das dicht mit Spritzern und feinen Strichen durchsetzt ist. Beigemengter Sand und Pigment erzeugen eine mineralische, meteoritenhafte Textur – ein harter anorganischer Kern inmitten eines turbulenten kosmischen Staubs. Das Werk erinnert stark an eine großformatige kosmogonische Komposition im Geist des Nachkriegs-Informel.

A large vertical composition in which a heavy red-ochre mass sits at the centre, surrounded by a grey-blue field densely seeded with spatter and fine strokes. Added sand and pigment give a mineral, meteorite-like texture — a hard inorganic core inside a turbulent cosmic dust. The work strongly recalls a large-scale cosmogonic composition in the spirit of post-war Informel.
